kindness knows no bounds

A heartfelt thank you to the board members and volunteers of Graceful Days for their incredible willingness to step in and support a family in need. It was a full day of packing, cleaning, and organizing, but we accomplished it with hearts full of compassion. This is how we give back to our community because it doesn’t always require an impending crisis or diagnosis. We believe that in challenging times, we are all connected, and the way we choose to support one another strengthens us all.

In this instance, a family faced a difficult loss, and in gratitude, they donated all remaining items from their estate sale to our inaugural Graceful Days Garage Sale (see details below). It has been an honor to know and support this family during their grief and to continue walking alongside them as they navigate this new chapter without their loved ones.

What an incredible start to 2026 series. Despite the gloomy, chilly weather outside, the atmosphere inside was warm, cozy, and inviting and the food was fantastic. A heartfelt thank you to Mary, a dedicated board member, for opening her home to us for this special evening.

The conversations were genuine and welcoming, with so many new faces alongside longtime friends of the “death cafe” journey. Your openness to discuss topics often overlooked, like phobias, is truly appreciated. Special thanks to the board members for the tireless work setting up the dinner. We’re blessed to be part of such an incredible community.
